Upcoming Events

Step by Step Instructions:
1. Open the Upcoming Events page 0:00
- From your homepage, go to Solar Dashboard after logging in.
- In the left navigation, click Upcoming Events.
- This opens the Upcoming Events page, where you can manage all upcoming events.
2. Review the event list and create a new event 0:31
- Use the page to view all upcoming events, including:
- Live events
- Sandbox events
- For each event, you can see:
- Event title
- Date
- Tickets sold
- Revenue so far
- Click the Create New Event button to start a new event.
3. Use the Sales button to inspect ticket sales data 0:54
- Click Sales to view sales details for an event.
- This area is used to:
- See how many tickets were sold by type
- Apply filters
- Export sales data
- Review detailed sales information
4. Use the Reports button to generate reports 1:14
- Click Reports to generate sales-related reports.
- This is the place to create reporting outputs for event performance.
- More detailed walkthroughs are mentioned as coming in separate videos.
5. Open, edit, or clone an event 1:25
- Click View to open the event in a new tab.
- Click Edit to open the event in edit mode.
- Click Clone to create a similar event:
- The cloned event opens in edit mode
- The title includes "clone"
- The cloned version is created in Sandbox mode
- After cloning, both the original and cloned events appear in Upcoming Events.
6. Cancel an event and understand refund behavior 2:10
- Click Delete / Cancel Event to remove an event.
- Canceling an event will automatically refund all paid tickets.
- Refunds are sent back to the customer’s original payment method.
- Customers also receive a refund email.
- The transcript notes that the cloned event was deleted because it was no longer needed.
7. Summary of what the page is for 3:02
- The Upcoming Events tab is the central place to manage upcoming events.
- From here, you can:
- Create events
- Review event performance
- Access sales and reports
- View, edit, clone, or cancel events
