Create your first event

This guide walks you from a fresh Ticketted account to a live event with tickets on sale.

1. Sign in

Head to the dashboard and sign in with email or Google. If you don't have a seller profile yet, you'll be prompted to create one.

2. Open the new-event form

From the dashboard, click New event. You'll be asked for:

• Event name — the public title. AI suggestions are available if you're stuck.
• Venue — search the venues list or add a new one. Australian council venues are pre-loaded.
• Date and time — single occurrence for now. Recurring events ship later.
• Cover image — 1200×800 recommended.

3. Add ticket types

Every event needs at least one ticket type. Common patterns:

• General admission — single price, unlimited capacity.
• Early bird — cheaper price with a sale-end date.
• Tiered seating — multiple ticket types with different capacities.

The platform fee is 2.45% + A$0.45 per paid ticket (free for free events). You can choose whether the buyer covers the fee, you absorb it, or it's split.

4. Publish

Click Publish. The event goes live at https://www.ticketted.com/event/<your-slug>. Share that link or embed the buy widget on your own site.
